SPIRITUAL FORMATION AND CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Who is missing from your congregation? Recent studies indicate that families with children with autism are almost twice as likely to never attend church or other religious services. In addition, children and adults with other disabilities such as physical, developmental delays, attention defecit disorder, sensory challenges, anxiety, etc. are often missing as well.
Join us for this day of vital conversation and learning to empower our churches to do all we can to become churches where persons of all abilities belong. The event will include a keynote address, workshops, a Q&A session, resources, and lunch.

The Spiritual Formation & Christian Education Committee consists of 12 members and is supported through conference Shared Ministry Apportionments. The bishop nominates the committee chair and the Leadership Committee nominates the remaining members of the Education Committee. All 12 members are then formally elected to their positions by the annual conference.
