Chardon UMC has three open postions:

The Director of Children’s Ministries will oversee the vision and direction of our children’s ministries. The desire is to see a strong, thriving and fruitful children’s ministry that is Gospel-focused with equipped and confident leaders. This part-time, salaried position of 10 hours per week oversees children’s programming from ages birth through 5th grade.

The Pianist/Organist/Accompanist will provide piano/organ music at church services. This part-time, salaried position of approximately 10 hours per week will work under the supervision of the Choral/Handbell Music Director and/or Worship Leader/Pastor.

The Business Coordinator will be responsible for daily oversight of the CUMC facility, including compliance with all laws and regulations; accounting of all expenditures and income; supervision of IT Technologist. This part-time, salaried position of approximately 20 hours per week will report directly to the Lead Pastor with “dotted line” reporting to the Church Leadership Board.

Northampton UMC's Preschool is seeking a caring and experienced Preschool Director to lead the Christian, play-based program. The Director will oversee daily operations, staff, and curriculum while creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow spiritually, socially, and academically. Strongsville UMC is seeking a part-time (~20 hours/week) Caring Ministries Director to lead the church in caring for each other during different seasons and difficult times of life so that people experience the healing power of Christ. We are a growing regional church with established care ministries located near I-71 and Rt. 82 in Strongsville. This role will be a mix of direct spiritual caregiving, organization, and training, so we will consider applicants from a variety of fields who have the heart and the willingness to learn. Greentown UMC is seeking a part-time Secretary. Three days a week, three hours a day, in the office to cover phone, prepare and run Sunday and special bulletins, and prepare liturgical worship materials, produce a newsletter and e-mail or mail copies to the congregation. and assist the pastoral staff and other church leaders as requested. Henrietta UMC in Amherst is looking for a Director of Children and Youth Ministry to work closely with the pastor and other key church leaders in order to: lead the Sunday School program (recruitment of teachers, selecting curriculum, scheduling/teaching classes and support communications); lead and expand the youth program (including curriculum, activities, volunteers and support communications); oversee the implementation of the "Safe Sanctuaries" policy; lead the Faith Formation Committee; coordinate the Nursery; and plan special events for the children (i.e. Christmas program, Easter program). This role is anticipated to be part-time (15-20 hours per week). We are seeking someone with a strong Methodist background and commitment to Christ and affirmation of those teachings, who has a passion for youth, is committed to safety and able to work flexible hours.
