Kay Panovec is the Director of Communications for the East Ohio Conference of The United Methodist Church. She has more than 20 years experience as a communications specialist. Her areas of expertise include: writing, media coaching, training and video production. She has authored numerous articles that have appeared in national church-related publications and is a national trainer for Igniting Ministries.
Panovec has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Mount Union College. A former newspaper reporter in Houston, Texas, Panovec also owned and operated a small advertising company. She joined the East Ohio Conference staff in 1997 after serving in five local churches in the areas of Christian Education and Youth Ministry.
She and her husband Ron are the parents of one child.
