Kaye Wolfinger hired as Director of Youth Ministry

The Conference Personnel Committee is pleased to announce the hiring of Mrs. Kaye Wolfinger as the Director of Youth Ministry for our East Ohio Conference.  Kaye will begin her duties in July as Rev. Susan Brown moves to Texas to be with her husband and family. 

Kaye has been serving as the Director of Youth Ministries at Wadsworth UMC since 2002 and served as Coordinator of Children and Youth Ministries at Christ UMC in Akron from 1999-2002. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in English from Kent State University and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. 

Kaye is committed to The United Methodist Church and states, “My own faith has been strengthened as God blesses me with the privilege to lead teens into a relationship with Christ making disciples for the transformation of the world.  I am dedicated to spreading God’s love and making God known, especially with teenagers and their leaders.”  Kaye is married to Mike and has two children, Austin and Anna.
