YAC 2009 - June 12-14
Theme: "Treasure Beyond Measure" Matthew 6:19-21
Fun! Inspiring! Exciting! Surprising! These words describe YAC 09! It is sure to be a highlight of the year for all youth groups! Using the theme “Treasure Beyond Measure”, based on Matthew 6:19-21, we will journey through the weekend as we strengthen our relationship with Jesus Christ, the church, and each other. From the hustle and bustle of Cedar Point to the sound of singing at Lakeside, YAC 09 will be a significant spiritual experience for youth groups. Our focus on leadership continues as delegates elect leaders for the coming year and voice their opinions on legislation that affects their lives.
YAC worship will be different this year. While the great tradition of the Candle Walk continues, regular YAC attendees will see changes in our other worship experiences. A key participant in worship for the weekend is Mike Lewis, the Jesus Painter (www.jesuspainter.com). And Sunday morning will be a wonderful showcase of the faith of our youth as they share their talents and gifts in worship.
